For the good of all people on Earth, it’s time to make a change. Here at For People and Planet (FPP), we believe everybody deserves an equal opportunity for prosperity in this world; that is why our mission focuses on bringing education, health care access, human rights protection and  environmental conservation efforts to Ugandan communities across the country.

This change is only possible by you and me. We work with international partners, corporate companies, private sector players and individuals to foster this change. You can join us by donating your money or volunteer hours to help FPP achieve its goals!

Featured Program Areas

Youth Education and Vocational Training

Education and training are key to helping the people of Uganda. The nation has high rates of unemployment, which is why many work in low-skilled jobs like farming or mining. These workers may not be able to afford college education for their children. We work with partners provide access to education to the disadvantaged communities with focus on children, youth and women

Health and Wellness

Uganda faces a number of issues within their public health care systems ranging  under-funding, low medical staff retention to lack of access to health information. We engage the private and public sector to improve access to health services through promotion of health rights and access to health essential information to empower the community to make informed health decisions

The country faces unique challenges in meeting the psychosocial needs of children affected by war, refugees and victims of sexual abuse. The country has a high HIV prevalence rate, with many surviving AIDS orphans at risk for mental health issues due to exposure to trauma and loss. we partner with civil and private sector to provide psycho-social support to those in need.

Climate Change and Agriculture

Global warming is a real concern, especially in Uganda where deforestation has been taking place at an alarming rate. This results from the government’s focus on economic development and policies that have encouraged logging of tropical forests to make way for palm oil plantations as well as increased poverty which drives people into farming activities such as slash-and-burn agriculture
